Shed new light on neuronal network complexity with 4,096 electrodes sampled at 18 kHz
For this unique Microelectrode array (MEA) platform, we combined state-of-the-art technology, high quality materials and functional design to create an outstandingly compact and easy to use device.
Featuring 4,096 recording electrodes sampled simultaneously at 18 kHz, it provides several orders of magnitude more data points than can be obtained with conventional passive Multielectrode Arrays (MEAs).
All these features allow the recording of electrophysiological signals ranging from slow large-population field potentials to fast single-cell spiking activity over a large bandwidth.
BioCAM X platform delivers unique insights into several in vitro electrophysiological models, such as neuronal cell cultures, brain slices, retina preparations and cardiac cell cultures.
BioCAM X's small footprint allows easy integration with lab equipment commonly used in in vitro electrophysiology, such as microscopes, perfusion and patch-clamp systems.
BioCAM X has a two-position button for locking in our HD-MEA chips. Simply one click to lock the chip in and immediately start to visualize and record your data on BrainWave's visual interface. Unlocking it is just as easy.

When the HD-MEA probe is inserted and locked into its bay, a barrier comes down separating the downstream electronics. This prevents circuitry damage in case of accidental overflow of liquids
